The service
Titleward is a workspace for puzzle and activity-book publishers. It helps you organise book projects and revisions, generate puzzle interiors, check print files against published printer specifications, compare a file with files you select from your own account, compare revisions, and export a dated release package.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Your files stay in your browser
PDF and image files you select are read and checked in your browser and kept in your browser profile. Your account stores project details, revision snapshots, file names, sizes, page counts, SHA-256 fingerprints and the results of checks you choose to save. The workspace does not upload those files.
Browser storage can be deleted by you, by your browser or by your device. It is not a backup. Keep your own copies; on another device you will be asked to select the matching file again.
What checks and records mean
Print checks report what the listed rules measured, with the rule version and date. A check that could not run is shown as not checked. A result with no issues detected by these checks does not mean that a printer or marketplace will accept the book.
Catalogue comparison only compares a file with the files you select from your own account. It is not a plagiarism, originality, copyright or trademark check of anything else.
Release packages, source and licence records and AI-disclosure records contain what you entered and what your browser computed. They are records for your own use, not legal proof of ownership, originality or approval.
Titleward is not legal advice and no attorney is involved in producing a result.
Generated content and your material
Puzzles are generated from a seed and checked by an independent verifier. The verifier reduces errors; it does not guarantee that every puzzle suits your audience. Review your book before you publish it.
You are responsible for the word lists, text, artwork and files you add. Only add material you have the right to use. Cover templates in the service are original to Titleward, and the bundled Lato fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, so you may use them in books you publish.
Coverage and completeness
Printer and marketplace specifications change. Each rule shows the source and date it was checked; there is no warranty that a rule is current or complete, or that every issue in a file is found.
Acceptable use
Use Titleward for your own books or for books you have the right to work on. Do not scrape the service, do not run automated or abusive traffic against it, do not try to get around plan limits, and do not resell or redistribute access.
We may limit or block use that harms the service or other users.
Accounts and plan limits
You need an account for the workspace. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Each plan has a monthly allowance of saved quality checks and other limits shown on the pricing page. Over a limit, the request is refused, never an extra charge. Saving an identical result again does not use the allowance.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe and charged in US dollars. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Customer Portal, and access runs to the end of the paid period.
Lifetime access and credit packs bought before 24 October 2026 are honoured on the terms that applied when they were bought; they are no longer sold.
Refunds
The refund policy is at /refund and is part of these terms.
Third-party names
Amazon, KDP and other names are used only to describe what the service works with. They belong to their owners. Titleward is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon or any printer or marketplace.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost sales, rejected or removed books, account actions by any marketplace, lost local files, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
To the extent the law allows, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as limitation of liability, continue after termination.
Governing law and venue
Governing law and venue: to be set by the operator before launch.
Changes to these terms
These terms have a version. When the text changes in a material way, the version changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current text.
